What do people want more than an easy button to fix their life? A mission worth living for- even dying for. When Jesus came to earth he lived, died, and rose again for you and me. He didn't lower the bar; he calls us to take it to another level. 2 Timothy shows us the relationship that Paul had with his disciple Timothy, a younger man and Christian with much to learn. This gives us an example to follow as we seek to "make disciples" as we're commanded in the New Testament.

This sermon wraps up our series on parables, as we return to the story of the prodigal son to focus the spotlight on the older brother. Grace cannot be earned, but how often do we feel entitled to God's favor when we compare our actions with others? This message will encourage you to pursue connection rather than rules to discover Christ's joy. 

This passage explores Luke 18:9–14 where Jesus contrasts the proud Pharisee and the repentant tax collector. Spiritual pride blinds us to the truth about God, ourselves, and others. It is time to ask ourselves the honest question- are we performing when we should be changed? 

Luke 11:5–13 is a message about prayer. When, why, and how should we pray? We are told to pray without ceasing, but what does that mean and how can it be done? This passage is a sweet invitation to every believer to boldly approach your Heavenly Father who loves you. 

What do you have that belongs to Jesus? What are you doing with it? And what do you want to hear when you meet Him? These are the three questions that Pastor Brian poses in this sermon about Jesus' parable of the talents. Here we'll explore what is necessary to hear "well done, my good and faithful servant" in the last days. 
 

How quick are you to forgive the offenses that others have committed against you? In Matthew 18:21-35, Jesus answers Peter’s question about how often to forgive by telling a parable of the unforgiving servant. Every Christian can likely see themselves in this story- unwilling to give grace to others even when we freely accept it from God again and again. Jesus understood this temptation and offers his listeners a different way. 

Pastor Brian unpacks the parable of the Rich Fool, warning against greed and measuring life by possessions. Through this story Jesus calls listeners to guard their hearts and recognize God as the source of every blessing. The message challenges believers to steward what God gives by practicing gratitude, giving first, and trusting God rather than accumulating material good for selfish ambition. 

Jesus uses gardening imagery in John 15 to describe believers' relationship to the Father. In this sermon, Pastor Brian explores themes of pruning as loving care, growing the fruit of the Spirit, and establishing regular habits of spiritual discipline so that the love of God can overflow.
